Sanjeev Kuwadekar is the CEO of GrowBiz Services Inc, a leading
tele-communications software consulting firm in
California. After working at Microsoft Corporation for
over 9 years, he founded his own company – HeyAnita Inc.
Sanjeev raised over 39 million dollars from leading
firms like Softbank, Mobius Venture Capital and Intel
and acted as the CEO of the company for over 6 years. In
that role, he expanded company’s operations in Europe
and Asia, turned the company into profitable business in
less than 2 years, formed strategic partnerships with
companies like Verizon Wireless, Sprint, Vodafone,
Commverse, Microsoft, Mitsubhishi and HP and negotiated
successful sale of the company.
He received Software Entrepreneur of the Year Award from Software Council of Southern California in 2003 for his outstanding contribution to the field of wireless communications software.
He received a Bachelor of Technology degree (1980) in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Bombay), and a Master of Technology degree (1982) in Computer Science with specialization in artificial intelligence and natural language processing systems from the Indian Institute of Technology (Bombay).
